I will never use Redbox again. I returned my DVDs last Sunday, and I got worried when I never got a return confirmation email or a charge posted to my bank account.
I contacted Redbox, and they said their records indicate one of the DVDs was returned yesterday and one still hasn’t been returned. I told them that wasn’t the case, and they then had me give them all kinds of information about when and where I rented and returned the DVD’s and any issues I may have noticed on the machine.
They then sent me another email that said, “I have sent this for my supervisor to review. It will take at least 10 days.”
So basically I have to pay at least $10 more for their mistake. And that’s assuming they do anything about it.
What horrible service and what a horrible company.
