The Fighter, … Unstoppable! Maybe The Switch–though I’m not a big Jennifer Aniston fan……
Any chance you can start listing which titles will be coming to Redbox on BD (Blu-ray Disc)?
loves the list of upcoming movies ty Redbox
Just two this week:
“Unstoppable”
“The Fighter”
Unstoppable and The Fighter.
At Joe Schmuck: Iv’e waited soooo long for that 28 days to pass for RedBox to get these movies. I’m glad it’s finally here!!!
Actually, I haven’t even got a chance to rent the ones from last week yet. LOL
Hey LindaJean,
If you only knew what you were talking about, you would know that THE FIGHTER is not a delayed title in the vending machine.
Oh, and by the way, I’ll be watching HEREAFTER.
Hugs & Kisses,
Joe Schmuck
I stand corrected…..although I really was talking about Unstoppable. Maybe tonight will be the night to rent one.
Linda Jean
Step Off
Is Unstoppable seriously not offered on blu ray? Just went to my wal mart machine and it’s not there, then Kroger. I checked the website for all locations and the only new one listed is The Fighter. What the heck?
@Mike “Unstoppable” is available on blu-ray…

Unfortunately, as of 3/15/11, redbox isn’t listing same :(.
Everyone should be happy that the DVD version [rental SKU?] is finally out of quarantine. ;)
It looks as if Redbox is not getting the 28 day delay titles on Blu-Ray, but to be honest I can’t figure out their Blu-Ray strategy. They just recently came out and said they are going to get more Blu-Ray and that action is their best renting Blu-Ray category. But they didn’t get “Faster” or “Unstoppable” in Blu-Ray which are both action movies. It just doesn’t make sense.
The Fighter and Unstoppable for me.
Thanks for listing what’s being offered on rental as BD. The Redbox strategy for BD is surely schizophrenic.
Me as well, The Fighter and Unstoppable.
Don’t forget the other “NEW” titles: Angels & Demons, Law Abiding Citizen, Marley & Me, & Seven Pounds…Does Redbox think we forgot we already saw these years ago??????
I have never seen so many complainers. No matter what the deal is some people will want more and/or complain. i Feel Redbox is doing a great job stocking movies. No they do not have everything in every format. But there is always something to rent. Be happy Redbox is there with $1 rentals. I refuse to let a few dollars determine what I see. If I want a new release I go to Family Video. Otherwise I use Redbox or my local library. I just spent $11 taking my wife to “Limiltess” in the theater on Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed the movie and it was worth the money. If you don’t like the $1 selection at Redbox then wait and go to the library. You people that won’t rent a movie unless you have a free code really disappoint me. Free codes are a way to get you to pay for movies which supports Redbox and keeps the prices down. Quit being cheap and stop complaining and pay the $1 and SHUT UP.
They recently had a press release claiming how they were going to beef up support of Blu-ray (which is bar none the best way to experience films) and yet, there are still films that would obviously benefit from the high-def audio and video experience (i.e. Unstoppable) that they are NOT stocking. It’s a shame to see so many Redbox lackeys here who can’t handle that their precious receive a little criticism.
Seen the Fighter and Unstoppable BOTH WORTH THE TIME!! I expected The Fighter to be great but I was surprised just how exciting Unstoppable was, I was glued to my seat the whole time! Hey any info on Redbox codes??
