    Maybe its me, but what has happened to a good movie for a buck? Most of these movies are JUNK. Where are the movies like inception, taken, and other ones worth watching.

        There are no video stores left open where I live. They all closed (BlockBuster, Hollywood Video, 3 different Mom and Pops) over 5 years ago. Nearest video store is 120 miles away. I’m sure there are LOADS of people who no longer have any video stores near them. I get your point-but for some of us it’s no longer an option.

        Actually, my local Blockbuster gets its movies several weeks later than Redbox nowadays.

    Thank the greedy studios for the flood of catalog only titles this week and next.
    They’d rather you go out n pay $15 or $20 a movie
    at retail then rent it for $1. I’ll think I’ll show them, I’ll instead go on vacation
    Then wait for $1 rental…

    I will be cleaning out my DVR this week. Agree, the movies in the kiosks have really gone downhill with the advent of so many of the production companies holding back on release to Redbox for the first 3 weeks (at least). Keep going in this direction and soon we will all be forced to have to buy on demand. Already Redbox and others like it have down circulations.

    If you check the ‘upcoming releases’ thru June,July and August (videoeta.com)
    you will see that all the releases are basically straight-to-video crap. I still depend on Netflix for releases and only pick up the few blockbuster titles that Redbox lists. Most of the RedBox content is absolute crap.
