Two, maybe three this week…
-“Moneyball”
Best of the releases and deserving of many awards.
-“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”
CGI benchmark.
-“Higher Ground”
Spiritual.
CGI Benchmark? Only if you think cartoon apes look like the real thing. This flick was just ok, and in fact tedious at times.

I’m sure we’ll watch most (not Bratz, thankfully) since my husband will watch every piece of sheet known to man. Ask me what not to watch. I’m a walking encyclopedia.
I’ll bite Rdejam (typo? r u RedJam instead?)
What shouldn’t I watch and why?
My short list?
Watch:
Cowboys & Aliens (always good to see Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde is always a treat), Planet Of The Apes (some good twists on the original theme, but the CGI is at times comical, and the plot weak), Midnight In Paris (not the biggest Woody Allen fan, but this romcom was charming and fun to watch with the famous names of the past popping up all over.), Super 8 (an old fashioned Speilberg-type film, with a touch of Stand By Me in it), The Change-Up (very funny, and Leslie Mann has a killer bod + Olivia Wilde)
Skip:
Apollo 18 (Predictable snoozer)
So-so:
Hangover II (Humor is down from I, and the charm is gone. It’s more of tense drama then a crazy comedy.), Friends With Benefits (not all that funny or interesting), Straw Dogs (wow – only the location was changed, else the script is almost identical to the original. No real reason for this film, especially not without Dustin Hoffman starring), Crazy Stupid Love (a bit painful to watch at times, but it had some funny moments too), 30 Minutes Or Less (a few laughs in a dopey teen comedy), Horrible Bosses (funny at times, but not always in an entertaining way)
just 2 this week for me – Midnight Chronicles and Rise of the Planet of the Apes
H-wood do not watch Apollo 18 it’s a terrible movie. Not worth the time or energy to watch.
Planet of the Apes and Moneyball.
Moneyball – and that is all.
the worst part of redbox is finding a movie and then realizing the one nearest you or even close is five towns over !!!!! how many times does this happen to you!!!!!!!!!!!!..i get so aggravated at this…the ones i really desire to watch are never here in my city of waltham…..
I do trust all of the ideas you’ve offered for your post. They’re very convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are very quick for novices. May just you please extend them a bit from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.
