Will you be participating in this fun Redbox contest, Insiders?
i can’t text anything…..i don’t even have a cell phone…never have
No….. Don’t text.
Machette *still* don’t text.
LMFAO.
“Machette improvise”
Do you all live in your parents basement?
LMAO, Text people Text. I love my free codes.
I know where they live. It’s the houses hooked up to telegraph wires. They’re missing out on one of the most interesting and exciting technologies on the planet. Yesterday I paid some bills, watched videos, sent some texts, checked my facebook, searched Google and Bing for Christmas items, downloaded a movie to watch on my big screen TV, and Skyped with my grandson. Oh ya, and made some calls. All using my cell phone. Today I’m trading my BlackBerry for the new Motorola Razr. I’ll be 70 next year. It’s time to reach down, grab your leg, and give a big tug on that foot you’ve got stuck in the past. Get with the program Flintstones.
That’s a nice thing to do IF you have plenty of money… which I don’t!
Neither do I Mavis. No dis intended. I’m retired on a fixed income. You can get a new iPhone for free with a new contract from Verizon.
Paying over a $100/month.
Not to mentions iPhones are very over rated. So many better phones.
And then how much is the monthly contract fee? I have a pay as you go play where I buy 100 minutes and they last me all year.
Can’t play. I do not have a texting phone and don’t want one. Wish you would go back to codes on the computer.
I agree, I do not have texting either. It is really unfair to those who don’t have texting, we miss out on contests like this.
I too would like to see codes on the computer. Don’t see the need for texting. Just one more expense. Do like the phone though.
You people act like texting is set at a premium price! If you can rent a few movies a week from redbox then you can afford a 2 text a day. One text you send them and one text when they send you the discount code. It will pay for your text in the long run. Text cost like 10 cents each and that isn’t going to break the bank at that rate for anyone.
I’ll participate, but I may not rent if I only get the 25 cents off codes.
Of course! Super easy way to get more free rentals!
Can’t!! I have limited text so I can’t sign up for these types of service where they eat up my texts!!
I don’t have text service either, so, no. :(
..Hello..
…No…The requirement of texting discriminates against those of us who do not have a cell phone for either monetary (ie: we are poor) or other reasons…
..Lousy deal..
…Be Seeing You…Raja…
I text but my service blocks all ad related texts. No fun for me.
I only text using AIM. I have tried with my cell phone but it takes way to long. I need a full-sized keyboard. Sorry REDBOX, no text messages from me.
The text to Redbox and the text back would cost me $0.30. Leaving me with anything from a 5 cent loss to a 70 cents gain (maximum). If it were a definite buck, I’d go for it, but the way it’s structured… meh.
Same here Mike – I wish they’d offer some way to go to facebook or their website and do it – or email them – texting costs me so I don’t do it unless I have to.
Redbox keeps limiting their promotions to the demographic who buy texting services. That is an expensive service and I refuse to buy it. Fortunately, I use Blockbuster and they beat the heck out of Redbox in most everything, particularly if you live close to a Blockbuster store.
I doubt it, since I don’t text. Not even sure I could figure out how to send a text on my cell! lol I wish we could enter by sending an e-mail or something like that. I think texting costs me $.25 each, so w/o a guarantee it will save me $1, I think I’ll pass.
Got a $1 off coupon for next rental. Thought it would be a free rental. Got to the Redbox. Made my selection and found out new Redbox rental rate is $1.20. Way to go Redbox!!! This is how to break the news to your customers that you are increasing your rates in a downward economy. This ranks up there with Netflix’s debacle.
the article is impressive, thank you for your share, i like it so much hope you like http://www.northfacekhumbu.com/ too
