Welcome to another edition of Inside Redbox’s Preview Review, where we recap the movies that will be coming out in theaters this weekend. The goal of this feature is to help you make your weekend movie-watching plans, as well as to note movies that you want to Redbox in a few months when they come out on DVD.
It’s a crowded weekend at the cineplex, with four wide release films hitting theaters. Previews and trailers for The Expendables 2, ParaNorman, The Odd Life of Timothy Green and Sparkle are after the break.

The Odd Life of Timothy Green
A childless couple has their wish granted in an unusual way with the appearance of a son who literally springs up from the ground. Rated PG.
Sparkle
This Motown-era musical stars Jordin Sparks and features Whitney Houston in her final acting role. Rated PG-13.
