Water for Elephants

Robert Pattinson takes a break from being a pale and pouty vampire to star in this film based on the bestselling novel of the same name. Pattinson portrays a veterinary school student who falls for a circus performer (Reese Witherspoon), much to the displeasure of the latter’s husband. Rated PG-13.

Madea’s Big Happy Family

Tyler Perry’s latest Madea movie focuses on the titular character’s attempt to bring her disparate and desperate family back together using her trademark tough love. Rated PG-13.

African Cats

A true story from Disney’s “Disneynature” shingle, African Cats depicts the struggles of two families of great cats as they struggle to thrive and survive in the savanna. Rated G.

Also opening in limited release are The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, Incendies, Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen, and The Bang Bang Club.
