Break out your best chicken dance, Arrested Development fans! Adorers of the late, great sitcom got some great news at the New Yorker Festival this weekend, when series creator Mitchell Hurwitz announced plans for a short new season (and feature film) of the show. Intriguingly, Hurwitz revealed that bidders for the revived show include contenders such as Showtime and Netflix.

With Netflix recently acquiring rights to its first original series, House of Cards, it makes sense that the streamer would be looking at acquiring more original content, especially a show with the built-in following that Arrested Development has.
