Chuckie (the doll)
The scariest is definitely Michael Myers from Halloween. The faceless stalker/killer totally freaks me out.
Chuckie – but I hate all – I mean all – scary movies . . .
Dracula. He sucks your blood
Holloween II
The guy from nightmare on elm street because people were even afraid of going to sleep in that movie!
Any movie by Stephen King!!! He’s a genius!! Even met him once when I lived in Maine!
Freddie Krueger. The mask still gives me the creeps and don’t even get me started on the hands.
The Thing from the movie The Thing because it was freaky.
Damien from The Omen(the original). In the first Omen movie, Damien was literally the child from hell–and he looked the part. When he stared into the camera, I looked away(and still do everytime I watch the movie). I just knew he was looking right at me and was gonna send the devil to take me straight to hell. It says something that, as an adult, I still get the creeps everytime I see that kid.
Michael Moore, he almost makes you believe him, which is terrifying
SCARY MOVIES…HM MmMmmM WHEN I WAS LITTLE YA MICHAEL,CHUCKIE FREDDIE AND JASON WERE SCARRRRYYYY..BUT BEING OLDER AND STILL ‘AFRAID” OF THE DARK…LOL AYE U DONT KNOW WTH IS OUT THERE HIDING IN THE DARK..I LOVE BUT HATE TRUE BASED MOVIES..I.E BLAIR WITCH ,PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 1 AN 2..YA FREAKY HAVE U SEEN THE NEW PREVIEW….OMG I KNOWS THERE MORE BUT I JUST GOT GOOSEBUMPS AND IM HOME ALONE…=3
…..OK IM OK..LOL BUT THE OTHER SCARY MOVIES THAT FREAK ME OUT IS DEVIL,MY SOUL 2 TAKE, AND ANYTHING HAVING TO DO WITH GHOSTS DEMONS OR JUST PLAIN BAD SHIZZZZZ…
The Sandman might be his name, all I remember is he would come into your dreams and kill you. Awful!
Definately Michael Myers from halloween. For some reason that guy freaks me out!!
Freddie from Nightmare on Elm St. Why? Dreams are something you dont have control really. They just happen. Course thankfully they are dreams..not real.
Certainly freddie. Nightmare on elm street was the scariest because the people had no idea when they were dreaming and when it was real, or if they would wake up.
Roseanne Barr……AHHHHH
Leather face from Texas chainsaw massacre. I wanna keep my face, based on real events n the is super creepy!
M.Meyers…Ultimately the scarriest character if scary movies. The character implants in everyone’s minds that blank white mask and mechanics jumpsuit, that its not easy to not think of the killer when you come across a decent worker. Also, when you here of young ones going through problems you think they are gonna turn out like M.M. And that in all is very scary!!
The original Leatherface from the original The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
This was the first real horror film I remember seeing and I was freaked. I remember lying in my bed next to my sliding door cupboards expecting a chainsaw to run through the doors and Leatherface leap out to chop me up. For a good few nights I just couldn’t sleep, and for about a week I had troubled nightmares. This character is one of the scariest because he has no remorse, no sympathy or empathy with any human being. He would just tear through you and treat you like an animal, just a piece of meat. Now that is scary.
The original The Thing from 1951 starring James Arness as the thing. I was 9 years old and so scared I ran the 4 blocks home from the theater in the middle of the street and had nightmares for months!
Dameon in The Omen
Hannibal Lechter from Silence of the Lambs. Do you really want him joining you for dinner?? I don’t think so!
My vote would go for Michael Myers. His mask made him appear especially freaky. On top of that, the background music really increased the tension for me in the movies.
I would probably give a close second to Freddy as well since it unsettled me to think about a guy with razor-sharp claws attacking you in your sleep.
The H Man…(1958) I was 8 yrs old and my brother told me that it could really happen….radioactive liquid turns people into slimy blobs that begin to reproduce and clutter up Tokyo’s sewer…it seeped under doors and any other opening…it was a slow and painful and there was no escape. I was taumatized for years…worried as to when it was going to happen. LOL
I would have to say Pinhead from Hellraiser. He pulls you into hell and then tortures you in the most horrifying ways. Otherwise Exorcist is by far the scariest no matter how old it is!!
For me it will always be James Arness in the original The Thing. He was relentless, indestructible and scared the hell out of me for a very long time. Also, the original Blob with Steve McQueen because that stuff could come under your door or bed and only cold could stop it. We didn’t own a fire extinguisher so I knew I’d be out-of-luck if it came my family’s way.
Reagan in the Exorcist because she ia such a tortured and horrifying soul!
Jason Vorhees. Friday the 13th was the first scary movie I saw. I was about 12. I had bad dreams for days!
The clown from the movie Poltergeist!!! That doll looks like nothing but an innocent childs toy, until it comes to life and starts choking that kid! It started a lifetime fear of clowns for me, now even Ronald McDonald makes me uneasy!!! lol Seriously tho I am terrified of clowns and anything doll that looks like one, I refuse to have anything like that in my home!
The body collector from the collector he breaks into peoples houses and sets up crazy traps, tortures them, kills all but one then takes the one and traps him in a box barely alive to use as bait for the next family..scary and creative
Mine was the incredible shrinking man, I was very young & naive & thought if the doctor gave me a shot I would start shrinking. You can imagine what my parents went through to get me to the doctor. Those were the good years.
The clown from the movie IT, based on the novel by Stephen King. Even as an adult that thing freaks me out !!!!!!
exorcist
Just because you deny the existence of the devil doesn’t make him any less real! that movie was SCARRRY!
Carrie…even the thought of that movie makes me cringe. I’m not a scary movie type so it dosen’t take much for me.
The Scream movies!
The bunny from Donnie Darko because it is just plain freaky! Could not watch the movie without turning away when the bunny appeared.
The Gremlins because when I was little they were pretty scary.
The scariest character of all time would have to be Pinhead from Hellraiser 1. When the movie first came out in theaters, I was able to see it the night before, at midnight, with 4 friends. (One was the person who threads the reels for showing). Since he worked there, he turned all the courtesy lights down as well. It was DARK and QUIET in the theater when I first met Pinhead on the big screen.
The creatures in the original Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark. I saw that film when I was little and it still creeps me out just to think of it. I even insisted on moving the heaviest piece of furniture we own in front of a nonworking fireplace in our house. It was already boarded up, but I didn’t care. It still scared me. I haven’t seen the remake… yet.
