All of the character from the movie “13 Ghosts”…. specially the Jakel.
It’s hard to name one scary character there are so many. One that stands out the most though is a character that has scared me since I was little, is Edward Scissorhands.
It would defiently have to be anthony hopkins in Silence of the Lambs! Psycholgically horrifying!!!
Henry Lee Lucas in Henry. Because it was real and it was brutal.

Regan MacNeil from THE EXORCIST is the scariest character of all time. The movie/book were based on factual events. It brought the realization to the whole world that if God/angels exist so does the Devil/demons and that reality scared the whole world.
I would have to go with Friday The 13th because as a child the very thought of Jason chasing me frightened me.

Mike Taylor from Wolf Creek. Wolf Creek is one of those movies that mimic a potential real life situation with a character that could actual exist and live among us. The movie is not only a classic horror but it instills the idea of psychopaths living among us doing horrible things to people that go missing each year. So the next time you go walking in the outback or with the hills of West Virginia make you dont make any Wrong Turns.

Killjoy!! I have never been able to go to the circus since!! Scary! Movie is a joke but as a character – yikes!!!
When I was about 8, we went to see a movie that involved a giant squid-type monster that attacked a ship. Nowadays, that movie would be considered a toddler’s movie, but, back then, the scariest program for young kids were Bugs Bunny cartoons. I was so terrified and had terrible nightmares for years. In fact, here it is over 40 years later and I can STILL remember that movie!
So many scary movies growing up in the early 90’s, like Chucky and Freddy Krueger, but the most, Id have to say is Jason Voorhees. He got Freddy, remember?….lol……Im always having nightmares of that dude.

The Exorcist was terrifying, but Emily in “The Exorcism of Emily Rose” was worse in a way… The scene when they’re out in the barn STILL gives me nightmares.
The clown from Iit has given me nightmares since i was.a.child. You know it a good character when it scares you so bad that you dont want to go to the circus on near a drain. Itwas so scary i couldnt even watch a movies with clowns
freddy kugar always gave me the creeps because he gets you when your sleeping.. and you have to sleep eventually!! Lol

i think the character that was the scariest for me is the mean guy from the SAW movies. just thinking that that old guy made other people kill each other and just watch for the fun of it, making all of these evil plans and jigsaw puzzles, it’s just crazy for me to see someone like that.

The clown character, Jigsaw, in all the “Saw” movies really creeps me out!!! These movies are so scary, I have to watch them through my fingers!!!
Definitely Freddy Krueger. I mean come on, you can’t fall asleep, and you can only stay awake for so long. How are you supposed to get away if he follows you into your dreams? AHHH!! :)
