The best movie of the summer was Captain America, which was my childhood comic hero. Can’t wait for the Avengers!
My favorite was The Help..Very thought provoking!
Cars II. I love watching good quality movies with my kids. The excitement of the popcorn, candy and the big screen. What could be better? :)
Soul Surfer – We went and saw it on a date night….loved it so much we took our kids to see it. The acting is well done, location (Hawaii) is beautiful, great action scenes keep you engaged and a nicely written story line that follows through with a great message!
Captain America was my favorite
X-men First Class was pretty good for a Prequel. Special effects were pretty good too.
favorite movie i saw was …. pirates of the carribean because it was the first movie i have seen in Imax
My favorite movie of the summer was The Change-Up. I havent laugh so hard watching a movie in a long time. I love the concept of the movie. Its a wake up call for those who are married or single.
Captain America hands down was my favorite this summer!
The hedgehog
Harry Potter – It was sad that it was the last one but great to finally see it after having read the book so long ago.
drive, was the best movie we saw. It was fast pace and we sat on the edge of our seats.
I hadn’t even known it was summer until I rented Rangos and watched it before I left on vacation. It was hilarious and helped start the “fun” that comes with Summertime.
Best summer movie was planet of the apes – full of adventure!
Bridesmaids was the best because it was LOL HILARIOUS..especially the bridal shop bathroom scene!
Lion King in 3D. Saw it with my grandchildren and my Mother. It was good clean fun, a movie my whole family enjoyed
My favorite was Hall Pass…..I thought it was very funny!
The final Harry Potter film, of course!! :-) Loved it, Molly was so awesome when she killed Bellatrix, and Neville finally got to be a BAMF. <3
Planet of the Apes was awesome…great to the end!!! But Hall Pass was pretty funny too!!
“The Help”…. What a great movie that brings out every emotion, happiness, sadness and “You Go Girl” ness………………………….
I will buy the movie. : )
Another Year-howlingly funny and wonderfully sweet
Cars 2
I’ll have to say the final Harry Potter movie because I only had enough money to go to one movie this summer and I missed Pirates.
“The Help” was by far, the best movie I saw, not only this summer, but for a good while. I cried at the previews! After seeing the movie, I was still crying as we walked into the theater parking garage. I don’t think I could ever be as brave as those women and as Skeeter, for getting their story out. All of them taking great risks. Wow.
Cars II, loved watching this movie with my son.
It was probably Super 8. It was pretty close to E.T. on pure magic. I loved it.
Cars II was a funny movie our whole family enjoyed. I recommend this for a family viewing night.
ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES THIS SUMMER WAS PLANET OF THE APES…AWESOME MOVIE
The best movie I saw this summer was The Help. I cried at what the people of that time went through. Very thought provoking……..
Transformers 3 in 3D. Awesome movie and special effects.
Best movie I saw this summer was Horrrible Bosses. Funny and somewhat true to life.
The Help was by far the best movie this year. Funny and a great message which is a rare combo in movies these days.
Soul Surfer – finally a good clean movie. Well done.
Bridesmaids because it was like a girl verison of the Hangover
HARRY HARRY POTTER!!!
Harry Potter, great and epic end to one of the best series ever created.
X-Men First Class. Hottest cast!
I enjoyed “Something Borrowed”, I believe it strikes a chord with nearly everyone and you are never quite sure how it’s going to play out.
I would kinda have to say Bridesmaids. I thought it had some good laughs and was a big hit movie.
The Conspirator! I’ve just retired after 32 years of teaching biology, and have shifted my interest more toward history….especially that of the Civil War, living here in Virginia just a few minutes from Manassas! We own a farm just a few miles from the site that Booth was shot! Loved the movie!
X-Men 1st Class was excellent as a prequel and did not detract from the original trilogy.
Fast 5, X-Men First Class, Transformers 3, so many movies lol
