Congratulations to Ness, our winner! We’ll be in touch shortly about your prize.
“Insidious” was really scary at the end! Also the “paranormal activity” movies are good (don’t mess with those ouija boards!). “The Resident” is scary and creepy and eventful.
The first Saw…I had nightmares!
Exorsist
The Exorcist scares me more than any other movie!
The Entity. Watched it years ago, haven’t since and never will again.
To me, the scariest movie of all-time will always be “The Exorcist.” The reason I pick this movie is because possession is something that really does happen. The fact that it involves a young girl makes it even more terrifying because you feel her pain and wish she wasn’t going through all she was. Plus, there have been a lot of deaths and health issues caused by this movie. Hands down, I must say “The Exorcist” is the scariest movie of all time.
The first 15 mins. of Darkness Falls!
Without a doubt, The Exorcist. Call me a wimp, but to this day, I cannot watch that movie! The previews/trailers alone will give me the eebie-jeebies!
Chainsaw massacre the old one I saw it it when I was younger and had nightmares for a long time. And it’s a true story… Even scarier.
Carrie
Fire in the Sky…..I cried I was so scared. I hate alien stuff….and then when they say, “Based on actual events” that creeps me out even more.
The scariest movie of all time is Alien. Enough said…
Excorcist.
30 Days of Night! I was so freaked out by this movie, I couldn’t even go to the bathroom in the dark & always had to check the shower to make sure no monsters were hiding!
The Orphanage is not only the scariest movie, but it’s also the most heartbreaking and beautiful. Few horror movies not only leave you scared, but also sobbing your eyes out.
Hellraiser it was scary and good.
Drag me to Hell
Alien, the original.
My scarrest movie is ‘The Thing’ the oringial by john carpenter 1984
with kurt russell
The Shining
The Exorcist
1408.
Even though there are not a lot of characters in this movie, John Cusack makes everything so real its frightening.
The Haunting (original 60’s)
The Exorcist by a long shot. I had read the book but even seeing it during the day creeped me out for a loooong time!
The Thing remake (with the man Kurt Russel)
Are you kidding me. It could of been anyone at anytime.
‘what lies beneath’ always gets me
Alien
The Terminator, very scary indeed.
Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer
Silence of the Lambs!
“Fire in the Sky” is by far the most scary. Only move to ever give me bad dreams. *please note, no movie has yet caused me to wet the bed.
The last movie to scare me even after the fact was Signs by M Night Shyamalan
The older your become the less scary a movie is to you. The scariest movie to me
is “INSIDIOUS”.
The Exorcist.
Children of the Corn because I watched it when I was like 12!!!!
Jaws -the fear of water and what lurks under the waves is universal.
I still can not forget Psycho even though it has been decades ago
Alfred Hitchcock’s “Phycho” is a masterpiece. Scared the livin’ doda out of me!!!
I seen the Exorcist when i was 14, so you could imagine how scary that was at the time, i could not sleep by myself for a year.
I have not had the nerve too watch it again, fear of flash backs :-)
Nightmare on Elm Street, Freddy was scary.
