The Ring. I ended up screaming at the screen. Not one of my finer moments.
Are you kidding? The Exorcist!! Walked by a church after seeing this movie and ran all the way home, Still can’t eat split pea soup, ever!
Jeepers Creepers!
The first “Alien” movie
It . That was a creepy movie when I was a kid in the 80’s, plus hate clowns.
Scariest has to be American haunting
I’d have to say the exorcist. I couldn’t even watch it as a child.
The Shining! Jack Nicholson was great!!!
As a child: Gremlins
As an adult: The Thing
I can’t recall ever being really scared by a movie. Arlington Road, although not a horror movie, got to me a bit.
The exorcist! I can’t even watch the trailer… goodness!
I saw “The Shining” when I was a little kid and it still freaks me out just thinking about it!
“The Grudge” freaked me out pretty good.
The Shining – RedRum
the shining
It has to be the Exorcists. I will never forget that movie! How could anyone forget it?
The exorcist
Without question…”Psycho”! I was in the Navy when it came out. I decided, along with 2 of my friends, to go to the movie and sit behind some girls and laugh at them when they screamed. I was so frightened during the movie that I don’t know if they screamed or not! There are at least 1/2 dozen places in the movie where I was scared out of my seat!
“Alien” was ground breaking movie.
Cape Fear with Robert DeNiro. Only movie I could never finish
The Hills Have Eyes always freaked the shit out of me
The Shining :( I prefer Mary Poppins any day!
The classics like Psycho have a certain awesome-ness because they are classics. For me, its not really ‘scary’ that i can’t watch them – its the gore that makes me shy away from them – thus the ‘Saw’ movies. Can’t watch ’em!
The movie/mini-series “IT” was the scariest for me! Great cast including a young Ron Howard. And to this day I’m still scared of clowns thanks to that movie!
I’ll go to left field for this one. Saw ‘Wizard of Oz’ as a young child – still terrified of those flying monkeys today! Aahh!
Not the scariest but I saw Dr Giggles as a child and it scared me off of scary movies. It’s the only name I can submit now.
Halloween–by far the scariest!
The Blair Witch Project. I watched the movie before all the hype came out. I thought it was real! Weeks later, standing in the shower I would get creeped out and have to peek out of the shower curtain. I am HUGE horror movie buff and that was the first movie to scare me that bad!
The Omen. Freaks me out every time!!!!
All the Saw movies!! Even had the hubby freaked out & screaming like a little girl!
Pet Semetary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
House of Wax. Paris Hilton’s acting is terrifying
The Ring.
The Shining!
The exorcist
i would have to say THe exorcist. Scared the poop out of me.
Halloween!!
Human Centipede – First Sequence was darn scary, had to cover my eyes alot LOL
Poltergist
I don’t watch a lot of scary movies but of the ones I have seen. Alien.
