This week we’re giving away 5-packs of free Redbox rentals to three lucky winners!
Hope you got your taxes filed, Insiders, because this year’s deadline is just around the corner. To help soften the sting of having the IRS’s hands in our pockets, we thought it would be fun to have a money-related question this week. To enter this week’s contest, answer the following question in the comments section below:
What’s your favorite money-themed movie?
How about one of the Wall Street movies? A vintage classic like Brewster’s Millions? Any of the Oceans movies count, too!
On Monday the 16th we will pick three winners at random from the submitted comments. Each winner will receive five free Redbox rentals! Multiple comments will disqualify you, so please respond just once.
Good luck, Insiders!
Update
Congratulations to our winners: grammiemaryg, tony, and jdtimi. We’ll be in touch shortly about your prizes!

“The Bonfire Of The Vanities” really nailed the materialism of wealthy New Yorkers in the ’80s and the lengths that people would go to just for money.
TyHey, any pics?
The origins Wall Street
The Money Pit without a doubt has it for me with Tom Hanks! My husband actually bought a house that was a “Money Pit” years back, ended up selling it to someone who was open & willing to finish it for his family… how fitting a movie and lesson to be learned!!!
Billionaire’s Boy Club
Wall Street
Sneakers, I guess. It’s not directly a money movie but they are stealing money.
Jerry Maguire
I know multiple comments will disqualify me but no one has said
Fargo!
It’s a Wonderful Life
IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU with Nicholas Cage and Bridget Fonda about a cop who gets a lottery ticket and promises half of the winnings to a waitress if he wins since he didn’t have enough money to pay her a tip. He wins and all hell breaks lose when his wife finds out. Funny and romantic.
Definitely Ocean’s Eleven…Ocean’s 12 was good too!
Pay it forword! Money movie for two reasons – has the word pay in it and the movie shows how you can make good things happen without spending any money what so ever.
The classic Fargo.
Ocean’s Eleven is my fav!
Jerry Maguire! SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!
Trading Places…nothing like messing with people’s lives with a $1 bet on the line.
The Counterfeiters is an awesome money movie and it is also a true story. It’s about the largest counterfeiting operation in history set up by the Nazis in 1936. This is my favorite money movie. : )

How about Mad Money-Three female employees of the Federal Reserve plot to steal money that is about to be destroyed. With Queen Latifah, Katie Holmes, and Diane Keaton.
Indecent Proposal
I loved MONEYBALL
Outrageous Fortune!
The Italian Job
Set It Off
Tower heist. I laugh out load with this movie.
Moneyball, it was educational view of another aspect to football. My husband and I enjoyed it immensely and will most likely rent it again in the new future, when football starts back up, probably.
