TGIF! Every week on “Freebie Friday” we offer our readers an opportunity to win free prizes. This week we’re giving away 5-packs of free Redbox rentals to three lucky winners!

The wizards at Pixar are looking to recapture the box office magic this week with their latest film, Brave. To enter this week’s contest, answer the following question in the comments section below:

What’s your favorite Pixar movie and why?

The studio has turned out some serious classics in its relatively short history. Is your fave one of the Toy Story movies? What about Ratatouille or The Incredibles? Finding Nemo will likely get its share of votes as well. What’s your pick?

On Monday the 25th we will pick three winners at random from the submitted comments. Each winner will receive five free Redbox rentals! Multiple comments will disqualify you, so please respond just once.

Good luck, Insiders!

Update

Congratulations to our winners: swetladee, Maxine Horrocks, and Master Z! We’ll be in touch shortly about your prizes.

What a hard decision to make, I would have to say Wall-e is my favorite because it’s a story that’s futuristic, shows WALL-E trying to figure out his purpose, and gives children and adults a look at what happens when a society becomes stagnant. I also love it because of the cute love story between WALL-E and EVE

My choice is a retelling of the greatest films(in my opinion) by master filmmaker Akira Kurosawa-the cinematic classic is Seven Samurai and it’s a perfect way to honor him. Thanks Pixar.

It’s tough, but I’d have to say Wall-E. The main character is so charming, and I appreciate and agree with the dire warnings regarding our treatment of both the planet and our own bodies.

Toy story is by far my favorite. Children and adults alike can relate to the love of a friend.

Toy Story 3 has to be my favorite of all Pixar movies! I liked all the Toy Story movies but the last was the best. I think I enjoyed watching it more than my kids! It has the coolest storyline out of all the other Pixar movies in my opinion.

My favorite is Up. This story is a beautiful picture of the blending of generations, that it’s never too late to dream and there is value in relationships with the young and the old. It also portrays a beautiful example of a loving marriage. One of dedication, loyalty and a cherished spouse. The classic Disney movies are often associating love with beauty or strength. Probably my all time favorite movie ever!
