Update
Congratulations to our winner, Judy, who plans to rent more than 100 items from Redbox this year! We’ll be in touch shortly about your prize.
I rent every week. Especially on tuesday when new movies drop. Lately the selection has been a little sad.
We probably rented about 12 but will be renting more in 2012 because even though we have Dollar Theaters in our area, it’s nice to be able to pause a movie and it’s easier to resist the popcorn in you’re home!
Wow…so many people on here are power renters. Personally, I don’t rent as much. Probably once a month or so, and not sure if that will change too much in 2012.
i probably rented at least once a month, but with rising theatre costs and 3D movies costing more than regular movies i’ll rent even more next year.
I rented about 12 movies last year, and will probably do the same this year.
I probably rented about 24 movies total during 2011 from Redbox. I will probably rent less next year since I have a new 3D HDTV.
I rented less than 20. Now that Redbox is the only option in the area, I will rent more.
around 24
I rent a lot of movies and games at redbox. I rent weekly and lately I have found a lot of very boring movies offered. I hope to see some funny ones offered real soon.
Rented two movies every friday night all year long. Thought when the price went up that I would limit myself to one but I can’t see two movies at a theatre for the new price paid at Redbox so I continue to rent two movies every friday. It’s the only entertainment for us seniors that is within our budgets. It’s movie time so hope Hangover Part II gets me laughing tonight.
Around 12. I only rent when I get the promo codes from redbox. I guess they stopped that now?
I’ve rented about 24+ movies in 2011. I will probably rent the same amount for 2012. Sometimes, redbox doesn’t have any good movies for a couple of months so I don’t rent at all. But when they have some good blockbuster titles I may rent 1-2 movies in a weekend.
I usually rent at least 2 per week depending on the new selections on Tuesday. Plan to keep the same process since I ended my Netflix subscription 6 months ago.
We rent almost every Saturday night probably 20 over the course of the year. I hope to rent more maybe even during the week up top 26 in 2012.
i love to rent from REDBOX, and used to rent at least 2 per week, or more; but the rate increase, and the dramatic lack of new movies really bothers me
I go maybe once a month, I don’t have a lot of time for movie watching.
I rent an aveage of two per month and probably will increase that when I retire in April 2012.
Around 20 or so in 2011. Probably around the same this year.
I rent about 1 or 2 times a month. Probably will be less this year, since I was just laid-off. :/
I love redbox so much. I rent a movie about 6 times a week since 2003[my parents did, and now I am keeping it in the family] 52*6=312 which is also $312. In fact, tonight I am going to rent moneyball!! I will be renting maybe 23 more this year because a lot of new new movies are coming out! Happy 2012
We rent about twice a month…so that would be 24 or so movies from Redbox this year.
2012’s rentals depends on how many good movies Hollywood can come out with.
I watched 388 movies during 2011, I’ll probably will do as much in 2012 if prices don’t increase too much.
I rented a few movies in 2011, about once a month. I will probably rent even less in 2012 because of the new surcharge.
i watched 388 movies in 2011. i probably will again in 2012 if prices don’t increase.
We rent a movie 2-3 times a month or more. We will probably be renting more this year, because money has been tight, and we’ve had to miss going to the theater a lot more. I also like being able to set up the close-caption option so I can make sure I don’t miss what’s being said or whispered in the movie. I wish movies in the theater offered this option.
A movie a month.
To be Perfectly honest, the main reason I sighned up fo my bank account was to receive a credit card just so I could rent redbox movies. Granted a movie theatre with the one you love is romantic but let’s get real… Redbox rocks! A dollar for a movie? You can not beat that no matter who says what. Me and my husband rented oh about….. 30 something movies and that’s just since 26th :). And when we received our iPhone we immediately downloaded redbox. To us it’s the best invention ever and we deffinatly Intent to rent many many more this year!!!
I rent about 20+ movies a month we rather watch them at home than spend a whole Lorraine money at the theater
I rent movies nearly every week and I will continue yo do so. It’s so convenient, especially forroad trips. I love that I can return the movies where ever I go!
Rent 1 time every three months but not that little this whole year.
I rent weekly for the most part. Don’t like you have to wait on new ones for a month or so. I hear that it is gonna be changed soon and be even longer. Grwwwl
I rent 10 movies a week and will around the same amount.
Probably around 27-30. It depends on how many free codes they offer me! ;D
Rented fewer than 6. Did not find that many movies I wanted to see. Will likely rent about about the same next year.
I rent 32 movies a month and probably a little more.
Hubby and I get movies about every other weekend. We will likely do the same this year. I love how easy it is to rent. Reserve online and pickup!
i will see at least one a week..so 52+…
I rent every weekday and will be more rentals each year.
We rent zero some weeks and 4 + on others. I would say 52-60 movies last year. Next year-time will tell but I would say around the same.
I rent 2 times a week and will rent less.
