Every week on “Freebie Friday”, we offer our readers an opportunity to win free prizes. This week, you have a chance to win a free copy of a DVD or Blu-ray of your choice, just by answering a simple question.
Netflix, already in the doghouse with consumers, announced this week that it will be spinning off its DVD service into a new company called Qwikster. The general consensus seems to be that the name is a bit on the lame side. Here’s your chance to be creative and come up with a better name than Netflix’s marketing team!
To enter the giveaway, simply answer the following question in the comments section below:
What would you have named the new Netflix DVD service, and why?
On Monday the 26th, we will randomly select a winner from the submitted comments.

Diskflixs or maybe Postflixs. Netflixs on the Net, Diskflicks on DVD or Postflixs for through the mail.
It’s not a “freebee” if you have to write reviews, make promotional ads, etc. Then, only one person gets anything. As tawnybits said, “here and gone,” I’m leaving insideredbox. Bye!
Get it Fixed
Nutflix…do I need to say more?
Flix2Go
Flix as a spin off of Netflix and 2Go for speedy and convenient appeal.
Quickflix
If they were really trying to show off the speedy service with the new name “Qwikster”, they failed on every front since that name means nothing. Quickflix, however, means “Fast movies” in another sense. Oh well, I don’t see the service lasting too long anyway.
“QuickSilver” Because it should be quick, and movies are on the silver screen.
DVD4ME
DVDFLIX
Dvds by mail spunoff from Netflix.
OMPic….(take off of OMG)…OMP for short!
Ripster Because the prices are going up like everything else is these days
Flixbox (the URL flixbox.com is available)
movieclik
D-Flix
DVD Flix instead of Netflix it at least keeps the spin off disc company under the same umbrella.
INTELFLIIX.COM BECAUSE IT’S INSIDE.
I’d suggest Mailflix since they seem to want to distance Netflix from having anything to do with the USPS.
I think a really catchy name would be “Disc-Go” It comes in a disc, and we take it to go. Simple enough. Plus it sounds fun, and its a play on words.
DVD2ME – because they will be mailing DVDs to me!
taxflix. because price increase.
“OneVies”
GotGame
Its the games that will pull in the customers. Movies will just be an additional perk.
cinema-box It’s easy to say.Its like a cinema in a box
“E-box” is the proper name. ( Synonym e-mail). Redbox is its ultimate competitor. Ride its Wave.
MailMovies
Quickster
