field of dreams
I’m going back a lot of years, but I liked Bang the Drum Slowly…
Trouble with the curve
Got to be Bull Durham. Love to listen to Kevin Costner’s speech to Annie and his ragging on Nuke about fungus on his shower shoes and misquoting “Try a Little Tenderness”.

“Angels in the Outfield’ is my favorite for how it sucked me in and made me feel. Have to admit though, for someone who is not a sports fan, I thoroughly enjoyed “Moneyball” also. Excited to see “42” just for the history.
The Sandlot! (:
David Mickey Evans who wrote, directed and narrated it is a friend of mine. They are promoting the 20th Aniversary thuis week. Google it, please show support. Thanks.
My “favorite” baseball movie of all time is “Mr. Baseball” starring Tom Selleck. Not because it is the “best” baseball movie of all time, but because of its personal meaning to me. While working in Tokyo this movie became my favorite because the way it portrays the Japanese culture. The parallel between the movie’s depiction of the baseball life and the business life I was leading was extremely similar. This movie helped me laugh with my business dealings instead of becoming frustrated by them. Anyone who has dealt with Japanese business culture will understand.
